This piece is outstanding! It was made in San Juan Yalalag, Sierra de Juarez, Oaxaca, Mexico C. 1940. Beads were hand made and soldered and the applied silver wire rope was soldered by hand. Hand made dove bead has hand stamped "feathers".
The cross. It has knife edge feathering along the edges and has handing bird charms! Exceptional!
Necklace is 28" long. The pendant is 5 5/8" long. The cross measures 2 7/8" by 2 3/4". Weight is 59 grams. In original patina. Hallmarked on the non-locking clasp.
