Vintage sterling silver "pearls" necklace hand made in Taxco, Mexico. Sterling beads are hand soldered in the center and the holes were hand punched from the inside out before they were soldered together. (earlier beads). Beads are graduated from 11.4mm in diameter to 17.3mm in diameter. Has a slide-in locking clasp with a partial Mexican hallmark. Weight: 4 ounces. Heavy and well made.
If you look closely, you will see that the beads in the back, the last 9 or 10 non each side have a satin patina. This is from being worn.
