Vintage signed Hopi sterling silver hoop earrings. Each is set with 10 rectangular genuine natural turquoise stones that are inlay set. They were made and hallmarked by artist Allen Pooyama. This artist started producing jewelry in 1937!
They are clip style and the space between the clip and the earring is 1/8". Not for thick earlobe.
Note, These were modified from pierced to clip at some point. The clips are marked Monet and are likely not sterling, but the hoops are sterling and early. My guess is that these were inherited and modified in the 1970s. Earrings are much older.
Diameter is 1 1/4". They are 4.5mm wide.
They can be changed back to pierced using a laser soldering unit. weight: 12.4 grams.
