Pre-owned sterling silver chunky ring by Navajo artist George Phillips. It is set with a large deep blue turquoise stone that has some patchy concrete colored chert matrix. It is set into a serrated bezel and framed with twisted wire rope and a knife edge stamped rolled edge.
The shank is stamp decorated all the way around with a nice 15/16” width at the stone and tapering to almost 1/8” at center back.
Size 12 1/2”. Face is 1 1/4” by 1 1/8”. Hallmarked and marked sterling inside. Weight: 24.8 grams.
