Vintage time worn Western belt buckle by Tex Tan Western Leather Co. of Yoakum, Texas. It has a sterling silver front, nickel silver back and brass twisted wire rope and applied design at the center. Cowboy riding a bronco. The sterling is hand etched. A rocker engraver was used for some of the design.
Measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" for a belt that is 1 3/8" wide. Well hallmarked on the back. Has a rich and warm patina with smooth wear. C. 1960. Weight: 54.8 grams.
